Vonage Appoints Scott Ballantyne as Chief Marketing Officer

HOLMDEL, N.J., May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Vonage Holdings Corp. (NYSE: VG), a leading provider of communications services connecting individuals through broadband devices worldwide, today announced the appointment of Scott Ballantyne as Chief Marketing Officer.
Mr. Ballantyne will be responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of the Company’s global sales and marketing initiatives including advertising, media, segment marketing, pricing, promotions, and all retail distribution. He will serve on the company’s Senior Leadership Team and will report to Vonage CEO, Marc Lefar.

Mr. Ballantyne comes to Vonage from Tendril Networks, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing. He has enjoyed a 24-year track record of success across all aspects of marketing and sales with well-known technology companies including Hewlett-Packard, T-Mobile, Dell and Motorola.
