According to a news item by India Times, IKF Technologies’ telecom division started providing Internet bandwidth and VoIP services to retail clients in India. IKF has already been providing the same service to whole sale clients for a short while now and since the company was awarded category ‘A’ license by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which paved the way for providing nationwide internet-based services as well as VoIP services.
The services will be soft launched in the next 3-4 weeks, said company director Pankaj Garg. At the moment, IKF is busy giving finishing touches to its network operating center (NOC) at Noida and POPs across India. IKF plans to setup 20 POPs in all major metros.

Ibibo can be used to make calls from any country to any country including India, Pakistan, Cuba, Philippines, Dubai. Actually now people from country besides India can also register with Ibibo call for free service (Imobile).
- Send unlimited free SMSs to anyone anywhere in the world.
- Each call can last up to 2 minutes, you start with 10 free minutes of call time.
The only restriction is each call is limited to 2 minutes, however the constraints of 10 minutes can be easily done off by creating multiple accounts.

4. Click on link your number.
5. Select your country and enter your Mobile number.
6. They will send you verification Sms.
7. Ask your friend to do the same, or if you are register on his behalf, do same procedure but with his number ( number which you want to call ).
8. Add him as your friend in Ibibo. For that go to his profile, and click add as friend. Ask him to confirm your friendship.
9. To make call to your friend, go to iMobile. It will show you your free remaining minutes and name of friends you can call for free.
10. Click call now in fornt of the your friends name.
11. You call will be connected. They will first call you, then your destination number.
12. Ibibo gives only 10 free minutes every month, after you finish them off. Delink your number by click on the this link.
13. Now register for another account with another email address, with same number. DO the same procedure. You will get 10 more minutes.
14. Do this as many times as you want.
Workaround to make unlimited calls :
- You can create multiple accounts with ibibo and link same number any number of time.
- For each account you get 10 free minutes, if you create 10 accounts you get 100 free minutes.
- To make account with Ibibo, you need not to verify your email address. (use any email id). So account creation takes no more than 30 seconds.
- Earn 3 minutes of call time for every friend invited who join.

Betamax provides the lowest calling rates to various destinations but they have a tendency of changing their calling rates regularly. I have mentioned below the cheapest betamax service for calling various destinations. A large number of countries can be called for free using betamax services. The service I have mentioned is purely based on the calling rate. Paying options, SIP settings etc can be found from their website. You may give betamax a try and see if it suits your needs. First, satisfy yourself fully with Betamax before buying any credit.
Just to let readers know, people can also make absolutely free calls to India (60 minutes free by Rebtel) and other destinations.

10. Cheap calls to UAE : Dialnow and Smslisto offers 8 eurocent/min calls to UAE.
The above rates are quite accurate as of now, but it is better to cross check the rates before you buy any credit as I have mentioned before betamax calling rates keep on fluctuating. - You’ll get a confirmation from Talkster with instructions. They assign a local Talkster number for your friend in their country. Your friends will use Talkster phone numbers to call-in to be connected with you.
- If you are calling your friend on a mobile phone, he will receive an SMS with his Talkster call-in number for you. Otherwise, let him know the Talkster number by IM or email.
- Click on your friend’s number in your Google Talk Contact List.
- Click on the Call button to start the call with your friend.
- Talkster will dial out to your friend from Google Talk.
- When your friend answers, you will have 10 seconds to check to see if he’s available to talk. Tell him to hang up and call right back, using his local Talkster phone number for you..
- You wait while your friend hangs up and calls back using his local number for you. (If he doesn’t know his number, send it to him by email or IM.)
- As soon as your friend calls in, they connect you and you can talk as long as you want for Free.
- When you’re done, you just end the call.
I guess this is a good calling method as calls are free and unlimited. But it can be used for calling 30 countries only. I hope India, Pakistan are included in the list soon.
