Recently we have been providing information about many cheap and free ways of making calls to India, Pakistan and other countries. Continuing with the series, today we will be discussing another method of making absolutely free calls worldwide including India.
Remember Youcall, we posted about youcall about 2 months back. We told about making free calls using youcall to India, and other countries. Youcall provides you phone to phone calls. Actually as it was giving 60 minutes free that time. It was basically gives trial credit of 2$. Large number of people made many free phone calls using our workaround.
Due to the heavy load on youcall (may be because of our workaround), it started giving problems like, call was not connected, registration problems etc.
Today as I was searching for some new or some working way of making free voip phone calls, I tired again with youcall. Bingo, it worked. I was able to make a free call from my Idea number (delhi, India) to a landline phone in Delhi(India). My call lasted for about 6 minutes. I don’t think its bad considering its totally free.
The changes I found on their website was that they have not mentioned that free trial minutes are upto 60 minutes. So, I guess free minutes will depend on country you are calling from and to which country you are making a call.
The steps for making free calls using youcall are same as I have described in my previous post about Youcall (click here). The proxy post (click here) (for registering with youcall for many accounts) will also be helpful.
It may be possible that some guys be still using Youcall for making free calls, for other who stopped using it and for those who joined after we posted about youcall this is a great free calling method.

Voip market is increasing day by day. The countries where voip is legal can be called for either free or at a very cheap rate. USA is one of the country to which many voip providers offer free calls. We have already discussed about Earthcaller, Mediaringtalk etc.
Bueno is another entrant in the market. They are at present offering free Pc to Phone calls to USA. The service is quite similar to Earthcaller, and Gizmocall. You just have to enter the USA phone number you want to call. No sign up required. However Bueno call service works only with Windows Internet Explorer.
Bueno also has plans of launching services like phone book, community, voice mail, shopping. I hope Bueno come up with free calling service for other countries too.

Continuing with series of cheap and free international voip phone calls, we will today discuss about Fizzcall. Thanks to Bharat Bhuta for letting us know about Fizzcall. In the past also, we have discussed about such services offering calls at a fixed price. Actually in these services you can talk for as long as you like for a fixed price during a single call.
Fizzcall Ltd is a private limited company based in Reading, UK. They were formed in 2008 only. They have succeeded in their goal to provide a simple international calling service, allowing a user to call from any phone or country for a single fixed price.
Fizzcall provides calls to mobiles phones and standard land lines around the world for a fixed price per call. Calls can be made to almost all destinations (India included in the list). However there are a few restrictions. I guess these services prove to be very cheap for those destinations where call rates are high viz. Pakistan, Dubai.
Some points to be noted -:
- At 25p per call : for up to 60 minutes.
- It doesn’t matter where you are calling from or to, call price is always the same.
- Simply tell them your number and who you want to call and they will connect you both.
- Payments are taken via Google Checkout.
- There are no hidden fees, no connection charge, and no cost per minute. (Mentioned on their website).
Three Call packages are available with Fizzcall:
Package1 (£1.50) : 5 calls
Package2 (£2.80) : 10 calls
Package3 (£5.00) : 20 calls
The only problem with these kinds of service is that either the voice quality is bad or the call gets terminated after sometime. I hope this does not happen with Fizzcall.
I think Fizzcall is atleast worth a try. There is lot of scope for money to be saved.

Voip is growing big. With lots and lots of voip providers in the market, call rates have dipped a lot. Rebtel code to make free 60 minutes calls to India was a big hit. There are many more voip providers similar to Rebtel. The best part is they are also giving some free minutes.
One of them being Dialsimple. They are offering free 10 minutes trial calls to India or any other country. However calls can be made from USA only. In order to get free 10 minutes, you need to register(sign up) with Dialsimple. You need not to make any purchase. They also claim that you can send unlimited FREE Voice Messages anywhere from your phone. The procedure to make calls is quite similar to that of Rebtel.
- Login and enter the international numbers where you frequently call.
- They give you a free permanent local number for every international number.
- Store these local numbers in your phone book and call them directly to automatically connect to the corresponding international numbers.
Say your Mom’s cell in India is +91-9866554422, and we give you 408-220-9315 as a permanent local number for it. Now to call Mom, you just have to dial 408-220-9315 from your phone and your Mom’s cell will ring!
Rebtel has tremendous voice quality, I am not sure whether they can match it. In call rates field too, Rebtel has an edge. Atleast, you can make use of free 10 minutes.
You can offcourse register with different numbers to get additional minutes. This way your free minutes can be increased.
I was wondering if there is any way you can register with the same number more than once. May be, by deleting your old account and registering for new one with same number. This was it can prove to be a great free calling method from USA to India.
